“ We are writing to thank Ark Remodeling, and, more particularly, Alan Kloes for the amazing work done to repair the siding of our home and add an aluminum roof to the screened-in porch on the back. We called Ark Remodeling  basically blind, because we were looking for three estimates. We already had another company in mind, but in order to be thorough, we wanted some comparisons.

When Alan came out to check out the job, we were immediately impressed with his thoroughness and eye for detail. We were accustomed to having contractors give a cursory look over the job and then spit out a number. Alan looked at the house very carefully and warned us of potential problems that other contractors had either failed to notice, or at any rate failed to tell us about. He was flexible in working with us to come up with different possible approaches to the repairs, keeping in mind that we were on a tight budget.

We were so impressed with Alan’s knowledge, thoroughness, and frankness that even though Ark’s bid was not the lowest (and the default position is usually to go with the lowest bid), we decided to go with Ark, and it was most definitely the right decision. Alan was on top of the job site with greater care and conscientiousness than any other contractor we have ever seen. (I [Trevor] worked for a few different builders as a teen, so I feel like I have at least some frame of reference.) He was immediately responsive to all of our concerns, and pointed out problems with the work of subcontractors before we noticed them, making a point of regularly walking the site with us, assessing the status, and then seeing to it that everything was just right.

We plan to use Ark again in the future when we continue to remodel our home, not only because they did a fantastic job, but also because they earned our trust in the way they communicated with us through the process, addressing any small concern immediately and anticipating potential problems. The results are fantastic and we as fussy homeowners couldn’t be happier with them. We have enthusiastically recommended Ark Remodeling to neighbors who have inquired about the repairs to our house.

”We were lucky to have found Ark Remodeling. We needed to have our kitchen redone and these were the guys and gals to do it. We have had a lot of construction done to our previous homes, but none compare to the quality of work that we received with Ark.
