Ark Remodeling and Construction was established in 2003 and our lead contractor has over 30 years of experience in the remodeling and construction industry. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service and quality of work to each and every customer we have, no matter what. We are a certified builder (CBC1256087), carry full liability and worker’s comp insurance, and require all our workers to sign wavers of lien. At Ark, we are all about taking care of our customers.

Ricky has over 30 years experience in remodeling and construction. Ricky earned an AA in Engineering from Wayne Community College. Ricky is responsible for the design and execution of each construction project. He is a wonderful problem solver and utilizes his years of experience to solve any situation he is presented with. He is currently active with the Gainesville Business Alliance and Grace Methodist Church.

Alan Kloes
Project Estimator + Project Manager

Alan has 14 years experience in remodeling and construction. He attended East Tennessee State University and earned an AA in Biology from Roan State College. Alan is responsible for estimating all of the projects and managing their progress. He is a skilled craftsman with a vast experience in trim carpentry including staircases, mantle pieces, and built ins.

Kimberly Blythe Farris
Designer + Admin. Coordinator

Kimberly is an architectural designer with 2 years experience working in various environments, from large international architecture firms to small local firms. She attended the University of Florida and earned a Bachelors of Design (2008) and a Masters in Architecture (2010). She also received the 2010 AIA Henry Adams Medal (UF), awarded to the top-ranking graduating student in architecture. Kimberly works with our design/build clients, develops/manages Ark’s marketing tools and coordinates office operations.
